Bed and Breakfasts along the Erie Canal

The Erie Canal cuts through the entire Finger Lakes region and offers some cute little towns with B&B's that offer easy access to many of the Finger Lakes. In fact if you are planning to visit the wine trails on several lakes during your stay, you may find it easier to do so by staying in one of the canal towns than on a specific Finger Lake. Use the map, or the list of towns to find a B&B in that area.

The Erie Canal is easily accessible from both Rochester and Syracuse and runs parallel to the NYS Thruway (Rt 90) for much of the way. Along the Canal there are often bike and hiking paths that run from town to town.
