The Best Coffee Shop in the Finger Lakes

For many visitors to the Finger Lakes region a good cup of coffee isn't a desire, it's a necessity. Fortunately there are lots of great coffee shops and java houses around to meet the need. Our innkeepers have compiled their recommendations for the best coffee shop in the Finger Lakes.

Barnes & Noble in Ithaca - Yummy, frothy-mocha-frappe-chino!  Coupled with a volume of Mary Oliver or the latest Scotland magazine curled up in a soft chair and no PHONES !  Ah... the best of the best. ~ Dorothy-Yorke Alloway - Red House Country Inn

Cole & Parks in Victor - Well everyone who know's good coffee in Victor, NY go to Cole & Parks. Not only is the coffee great. But the ambience is also very cool. They have made it "the place too comfortable to be in". Fireplace, in the winter with over stuffed chairs. Great open porch in the summer with a great view on the rolling hills of Victor. Yummies that you can order with your coffee are out of this world! ~ Eileen Cash - Springdale Farm B&B

The Blue Dahlia in Canandaigua - is the best coffee shop in the Finger Lakes. Not your typical coffee chain. A cozy atmosphere and excellent hot chocolate to boot. Perfect for a chilly winter day. ~ Sheryl Mordini - Acorn Inn B&B

Gimme! Coffee in Trumansburg or Ithaca - A Finger Lakes original with a great name, awesome beans, and cool enough to open a shop in New York City. Sip....slurp....enjoy. ~ Steve and Kathy Wirt - Wine Country Cabins Bed and Breakfast

Wegmans in Geneva - this is not a conventional reply - but I say it because they'll grind any type of coffee for you to take or drink there.  They have so many different flavours and blends. Wegmans is also located in Ithaca, Canandaigua, Auburn... ~ Cristina Diaz - The Farr Inn

ZuZu Cafe in Seneca Falls - I would say the best its the best, but don't tell my Canandaigua friends I said so. ~ Jack - Bed and Breakfast at Oliver Phelps

Tim Horton's in Geneva - We were just there and had an excellent cup of coffee with a very good ham and cheese biscuit priced reasonably. ~ Glenda Nash - Gentle Giants Bed and Breakfast

Finger Lakes Roasters in Farmington - Their flavors are good & so are their baked goodies as well as the atmosphere. ~ Robin & Michael Grentus - A Wolfpack B&B

Glen Mountain Market in Watkins Glen - It's our favorite spot for a cup of coffee and fresh made pastry. Although they specialize in all the fancy coffee's - the lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, etc. we find their House Blend to be more our style. Coupled with the fresh baked muffins, pastries and cookies, taste buds will sing. Their menu also includes many tasty sandwiches and salads. ~ Susan & Burney Baron - Los Gatos B & B
