The undeveloped lakeshore of Canadice Lake is a real tranquil setting for a kayak or canoe. Because the lake is a resevoir for the city of Rochester, access to the lake is by permit only. The permits are free and can be picked up from a self-service station at the end of the lake or downloaded from here [download permit].
